On the afternoon of July 6, Zhu Meifang, Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS), Dean of School of materials science and engineering of Donghua University, Director of State Key Laboratory for Modification of Chemical Fibers and Polymer Materials (SKLFPM), and her team visited SPC. Wu Haijun, Secretary of the Party committee and chairman of the board, and Huang Xiangyu, deputy general manager, attended the meeting.

Wu Haijun said that SPC is accelerating its transformation to new materials and hopes to carry out in-depth exchanges and cooperation with Donghua University and academician Zhu Meifang’s team on the functionalization and intellectualization of high-performance fibers, the construction of open and innovative platform, and the two-way cultivation of scientific research talents.

At the meeting, the two sides exchanged and discussed the direction of high-performance fiber’s development, composite conductive fiber technology, cooperation and co-construction of industrial colleges, joint training of high-end talents, and integration development with Jinshan District Carbon Valley Green Bay characteristic industries .
