On July 18th，Wang Yong, The Party Committee Secretary of China University of Petroleum (East China),brought a team to visit SPC and a bilateral panel discussion was held on deepening cooperation. Wan Tao, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of SPC, said that we should enhance the university-Enterprise cooperation so as to promote the development of both sides.

Wang Yong stated with praise that SPC plays a vital important role in the national economic development as a super large-scale state owned enterprise, and SPC’s prospect of “To Build a ‘Leading Domestically, First-class Globally’ Energy, Chemical and New Material Company” is consistent with the aim of China University of Petroleum which is “to be a high-level research-oriented university with its petroleum discipline reaching the world-class level”. In the future, the University will closely cling to the positioning of enterprises, anchor towards new energy, new materials, and new technologies, etc., fully utilize their talent and resource advantages, build cooperation platforms, and serve the development of enterprises.

Wan Tao well welcomed Wang Yong and his companions representing SPC. He set forth that in recent years, SPC has been proactively promoting the existing industry’s quality increasing and efficiency uplifting, as well as the transformation development, pushing forward safety and environmental protection up to a higher level and actuating the company to develop on a high quality pathway. To achieve these, strong talents and technology backups from the universities are a necessity. We hope the two of us could cooperate together, aiming the industrial market and the future developing directions, and strengthen the transformation of the scientific research achievements so as to realize the reciprocal win-win results through university-Enterprise cooperation.
