Recently, the group standard "Industrial Grade Polyacrylonitrile-based Large Tow Carbon Fiber Yarn" drafted by SPC won the first prize of the "2024 CSTM Standard Innovation Contribution Award".

This standard is the first product standard for large tow carbon fiber in China. It is managed by the Standardization Technical Committee for Glass Fiber and Carbon Fiber in the Field of Building Materials (CSTM/FC03/TC10) of the China Society for Materials and Testing Standardization Committee, and was officially released on July 7, 2023.

This appraising was organized and submitted by the CSTM Standardization Committee， with  a review group consisting of 26 experts. The review meeting was held in the form of  "online+offline"，and a total of 32 projects passed the review, including 11 first prizes, 14 second prizes, and 7 third prizes. The standard led by SPC stood out with its innovation, advanced technology and contribution to the industry, and was highly recognized by the experts of the review group.
